The Secret U.S. Classic, the final qualifying event for women’s gymnastics for the P&G Gymnastics Championships, will be staged at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, Ill., for the third consecutive time. It is scheduled for July 25.
Simone Biles of Spring, Texas/ World Champions Centre, and Jordan Chiles of Vancouver, Wash./ Naydenov Gymnastics Inc., took home the senior and junior all-around titles, respectively, at the 2014 Secret U.S. Classic.
Sunisa Lee of Saint Paul, Minn./Midwest Gymnastics Center, and Deanna West of Plano, Texas/WOGA, won their respective divisions at the 2014 U.S. Challenge at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, Ill. The U.S. Challenge features gymnasts in the Hopes Division of elite gymnastics.
Lexie Priessman of Cincinnati, Ohio/Perfection Gymnastics School, has withdrawn from the Secret U.S. Classic. During training on Friday evening, she sprained her ankle when dismounting from the balance beam.
