
HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. (July 15, 2025) – Headlined by Olympic team gold medalist Hezly Rivera and World Championships team champions and Olympic replacement athletes Joscelyn Roberson and Leanne Wong, nearly 70 junior and senior women will compete at the 2025 U.S. Classic Presented by Saatva July 18-19 in Chicagoland.
New generation, new champions
This year’s U.S. Classic Presented by Saatva serves as the final opportunity for women’s artistic athletes to qualify to the 2025 Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships August 7-10 in New Orleans, Louisiana. New Classic champions will be crowned in both the junior or senior divisions in Hoffman Estates, with 2024 junior all-around champion Claire Pease now competing as a senior and senior champion Simone Biles not active in 2025.
Senior athletes to watch include 2025 Pan American Championships all-around gold medalist and World Cup Series floor exercise champion Jayla Hang, 2025 Winter Cup all-around champion and DTB Pokal team gold medalist Ashlee Sullivan and 2025 Winter Cup all-around bronze medalist and City of Jesolo uneven bars champion Simone Rose. Top juniors include 2025 Winter Cup and City of Jesolo Trophy junior all-around champion Lavi Crain, and 2025 Winter Cup all-around silver and bronze medalists Vivi Crain and Addalye VanGrinsven.
The competition runs in conjunction with the 2025 Hopes Championships, which is slated for Friday, July 18 and concludes the season for Hopes athletes in the 11-12 and 13-14 age groups. Hoffman Estates will see Hopes and junior athletes take the floor Friday, followed by all senior women action on Saturday.
