2025 U.S. Classic returns to Chicagoland

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. (February 4, 2024) – The 2025 U.S. Classic will return to Hoffman Estates, Illinois, July 18-19 at NOW Arena, USA Gymnastics announced Tuesday. The event will be hosted in the Chicago area for the ninth time in the competition’s history.
The annual U.S. Classic is the second domestic premiere event for junior and senior women’s artistic gymnasts and serves as the final opportunity to qualify to the U.S Gymnastics Championships. Classic has proven to be one of the most star-studded events on the gymnastics calendar, with the sport’s top legends all having competed at the event, including Simone Biles, Suni Lee, Nastia Liukin, Aly Raisman, Dominique Dawes, and Shawn Johnson. The 2025 U.S. Classic also hosts the 2025 Hopes Championships, which serves as the national championships for women’s artistic gymnasts in the 11-12 and 13-14-year-old age groups.
“With the return to Hoffman Estates, the 2025 U.S. Classic will be one of our most engaging events of the season” said USA Gymnastics’ Chief Programs Officer Stefanie Korepin. “NOW Arena will see some of the best athletes in the sport and some new faces compete against each other for national titles.”
Chicagoland has previously hosted the USA Gymnastics U.S. Classic nine times, with Hoffman Estates as the host venue in 2017 and 2023.
